SOMMELIER:

On behalf of our client, a prestigious hotel in Heraklion, Crete, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Sommelier to join their team.

The role of Sommelier is responsible for:

-Provide professional advice to guests on wine selection that pairs perfectly with their meals.
-Manage the hotel's wine cellar, including ordering and storing wines.
-Organize and conduct wine tastings for guests.
-Collaborate with the chef and kitchen team to create food and wine pairing recommendations.
-Train staff on wine knowledge and serving techniques.
-Maintain high service standards and ensure guest satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

-Previous experience as a Sommelier in a luxury hotel or restaurant.
-Excellent knowledge of Greek and international wines.
-Strong communication and customer service skills.
-Sommelier certification (WSET, CMS, or equivalent)
-Ability to organize and manage inventory.
