The Data Center Engineer position is full-time, based in Chania, Crete.

Responsibilities
As a Data Center Engineer, you will join a team of top tech professionals, and your duties will be the following:

-provide 1st level support for Data Centre colocation services
-diagnose and solve connectivity issues
-test cables and capacity services using Digital Transmission Analyzers (IP/OTN/SDH)
-manage customer’s trouble tickets and Service Requests
-monitor the Data Centre infrastructures (Power, cooling, etc) and engages the respective specialized team in case of failure
-implement physical connections (fibre & UTP patching) for the provision of services to --customers or interconnections between customers
-rack and stack of IT equipment
-manage all site visitors access and logistics (Physical access requests, escort to rack, -reception/dispatch/storage of equipment, etc.)
-provide 1st level monitoring of network devices (Firewalls, routers, switches)

Qualifications
In order for your profile to match this Data Center Engineer position, you need to have the following skills:
-previous experience in technical support
-knowledge in networking
-degree in IT or relevant field
-fluency in english
-ability to work on shifts
