key responsibilities:
As an Telecommunications Engineer, your duties will be the following:
○ Develop and coordinate IT communication systems design solutions that meet business requirements.
○ Record client and stakeholder requirements and integrate them into the design to support the package manager.
○ Collaborate with a CAD engineer and system vendor to complete communication systems cabling drawings and shop drawings.
○ Ensure designs comply with local and European cabling standards, contributing to value engineering efforts.
○ Review designs provided by vendors and actively participate in design meetings.
○ Resolve on-site issues and coordinate with other services to prevent and address clashes.
○ Plan and manage the site work schedule, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
○ Monitor on-site material status and validate deliveries against contract specifications.
○ Coordinate with non-IT contractors to ensure the readiness of IT-related rooms, such as IT rooms, data centers, and ISP rooms.
○ Liaise with airport stakeholders, including airlines, retailers, police, ISPs, and authorities.
○ Conduct necessary tests and support the handover process to ensure successful project completion

qualifications:
In order for your profile to match this Telecommunications Engineer position, you need to have the following:
○ Over 2 years of experience in designing and implementing IT communication systems, specifically within airport environments.
○ Proficiency in developing and deploying communication systems.
○ Experience in creating and supporting the preparation of shop drawings with CAD tools.
○ Familiarity with relevant building codes and safety standards.
○ Demonstrated ability to manage projects and coordinate effectively.
○ Strong skills in collaborating with stakeholders and maintaining effective communication.
○ Competence in performing quality checks and ensuring adherence to technical standards.
○ Engineering degree will be an asset
